| I doubt you will ever leave satisfied on street tires unless you are prepared to put in the kind of time at the strip that the resident strip junkies put in, in order to hone your launch. I gave up after a dozen+ runs with a best of 13.5@111 and a 60ft around 2.2 or so. Then I bought MT Streets and proceeded to break the JWT clutch. Ever since then my OEM diff hasnt sounded the same, probably needs a rebuild, and I havent gone back. IMO if you just want to drag race for fun with friends or at a club/group outing, then you shouldnt worry too much about your times. Take out your dead weight, deflate your tires, and then enjoy without worrying too much about what you "should be running". Otherwise to worry about getting the lowest time possible you really have to beat on the car hard and it has to be built/modded to take it, and you have to be prepared to tow it home or deal with the accelerated wear and tear. I'm not sure why I even still have my MT Streets.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened.... I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform." --Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill END THE FED
